To start off in the gaming category of the phone, both phones won't have a problem whatsoever when it comes to gaming performance. Both chips when the phones were released were the best possible chips you can get from both sides.

The OnePlus 7 pro like we discussed previously has a 90 hz amoled display which means generally when it comes to which game will feel smoother there isn't any doubt that the OnePlus 7 pro will be a more enjoyable experience, but that isn't to say that the Iphone 11 pro max isn't bad at all because its still one of the best "gaming" phones but OnePlus is just slightly ahead of them.
The Iphone 11 pro max like we discussed isn't 1440p which is truly shocking because most top of the line flagships these days have it, but the crazy thing is many people buying this phone are spending $1,000 plus dollars on a phone that doesn't have literally everything maximized the the extent of the OnePlus 7 pro. The OnePlus 7 pro really pushed what a futuristic phone should include. The OnePlus has also has a feature that learns what apps you go to mostly and pre loads them in the back as you're maybe making a call or just charging your phone. OnePlus has a feature that is pretty cool called ZenMode which is when you turn it on and can't receive any messages or calls for a certain amount of time as it locks your phone.
